About The Position

This position is based in the Firm's global operations center in Tampa, FL. Description: This position is responsible for managing the firm’s client funds money to comply with various state bar rules and firm policies.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Strong verbal, mathematical, written, and analytical skills.
• Excellent organization skills and sense of urgency to requests.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and work demands.
• Knowledge of MS Office 2013 Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work will under pressure.
• High ability to work independently as well as with others in a team setting.
• Bachelors of Finance, Accounting, Math, or Economics Degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bank transactions, including deposits and disbursements.
• Ensure that deposits are recorded to the appropriate client matter and that disbursements have appropriate supporting documentation and approvals.
• Set up vendors to meet IRS criteria.
• Prepare Bank Reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Manage Trust Accounts to comply with state regulations and firm policies.
• Store and file records of transactions.
• Special projects and additional duties as assigned.
