About The Position

As the Client Executive, you will serve as the primary service team member responsible for client retention, satisfaction, and overall benefits strategy execution. You will guide clients through complex employee benefits decisions, serve as a strategic advisor, and ensure high-quality service delivery across your assigned book of business. This role requires strong technical expertise, proactive communication, and exceptional project management skills to coordinate multi-step initiatives, oversee timelines, and drive cross-functional collaboration. You will build long-term partnerships while aligning client needs with Hausmann Group’s service platform and ensuring seamless execution of all client-facing deliverables. Strategic Service Focus: Develop and execute multi-year client benefit strategies designed to manage plan costs and support long-term planning objectives. Leverage data analytics and market trends to make informed recommendations and guide clients through decision-making. Serve as the primary project leader coordinating internal service teams, ensuring communication and alignment, managing timelines, timely execution of deliverables, and driving coordinated execution across internal teams and external partners. Advocate for enhancements or additions to the service platform that elevate client value and strengthen the overall client experience. Build and leverage strong internal and external relationships to enhance the client experience, identify opportunities for expanded support and revenue growth, and strengthen partnership touchpoints that drive long-term retention. Account Management: Independently manage a book of business over $1M in revenue, ensuring alignment with departmental goals related to profitability, retention, and service excellence. Demonstrate full accountability and ownership of assigned client relationships, ensuring all commitments, deliverables, and strategic initiatives are executed on time with consistency and excellence. Demonstrate strong situational and emotional awareness, adapting communication style, tone, and approach to align with client dynamics, audience expectations, and behavioral cues in order to strengthen engagement, build influence, and support effective decision-making. Anticipate client needs and upcoming questions, proactively preparing information, solutions, and recommendations to support a smooth and confident client experience. Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate expertise in managing fully insured and self-funded benefits programs, including analysis, vendor evaluation, and plan structure guidance. Stay current on emerging market trends, regulatory changes, and industry shifts impacting employee benefits programs. Review and support compliance responsibilities, including disclosure requirements, vendor and carrier contracts, plan documentation, and employee communications. Requirements

  • 5+ years of account management experience with a broker or insurance carrier environment is preferred.
  • Strong decision-making skills, especially in situations involving ambiguity or change.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to organize work, manage deadlines, collaborate across teams, and use shared management tools to support transparency and efficiency.
  • Strong time-management discipline and the ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning through internal and external educational opportunities.
  • Hold and maintain a valid Wisconsin Health and Life insurance license, within 90 days of hire.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and comfort with additional multimedia or digital tools.
  • Able to work in a stationary position 90% of the time.
  • Constantly able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery 90% of the time.
  • Constantly able to observe details, including letters, numbers and colors, at close range.
  • Able to move or transport objects weighing up to 20lbs. Frequency and duration will vary
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
