About The Position

Participate in the 15-week paid training program to obtain FINRA licenses and to develop sales skills, product, system and industry knowledge. Work in partnership with external sales representatives to gain basic knowledge of the client base, investment products, marketing campaigns, and information about Federated Hermes' key competitors Conduct systematic sales calls via telephone to clients and prospective clients to acknowledge trades, identify needs, solicit business, and explain Federated Hermes' investment products and processes Develop relationships with financial intermediaries, customers and prospects Respond to incoming inquiries from existing/prospective financial intermediaries regarding Federated Hermes' products, services and sales ideas Meet individual production goals and effectively participate in reaching department production goals Participate in ongoing training, including product knowledge, presentation skills, and seminars to fully develop professional skills Demonstrate ability to learn, utilize and maintain all systems thoroughly i.e. Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Finders Remain current with industry trends Attend industry conferences and seminars on occasion

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree required; SIE (Securities Industry Essential's exam) preferred
  • Must possess or immediately obtain FINRA SIE, Series 7 & 66 (or equivalent) licensing
  • Emphasis on sales skills, product knowledge and building relationships with clients
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Excellent oral communication skills (telephone voice) and presentation skills required
  • Excellent decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills required
  • Above average attention to detail required
  • Individual will be required to sign an Employment Agreement
  • Travel to attend client meetings and conferences as appropriate
  • Must possess/maintain a valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • One year of work experience in the financial services industry or sales related field preferred
  • Knowledge of quantitative mutual fund investment techniques and terminology preferred
