About The Position

The Client Development Manager is a key member of our Growth team and plays a dual role as both a sales leader and individual contributor. This person will support the VP of Growth in strategy, management, coaching, and elevating the Client Development Specialist (CDS) team, while also owning a small book of business and contributing directly to revenue. This is a highly visible role designed for someone who thrives in a player/coach environment: leading from the front, building strong sales habits across the team, strengthening conversion performance, and partnering with leadership to execute initiatives that drive scalable growth. The Client Development Manager is also a key steward of the ConceiveAbilities brand experience, ensuring that every Intended Parent feels supported through warm, timely, professional, and consultative interactions.

Requirements

  • Proven coaching capability with the ability to improve performance through clear feedback, accountability, and skill development
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling environment with evolving priorities
  • Strong operational rigor with the ability to build, document, and continuously improve processes and team cadence
  • High emotional intelligence with strong professionalism, judgment, and discretion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Persistent and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate obstacles and deliver strong outcomes
  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in a quota carrying/closing role & management experience
  • Experience driving growth in a service or B2C environment
  • Fluency with a wide array of sales and marketing tools
  • Experience with digital and CRM work environments, specifically Salesforce, Google Workspace, RingCentral and Trello, and DocuSign
