We are seeking a Client Development (CD) Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our Life Sciences practice, with a focus in events. These events may include large-scale conferences, client dinners, webinars, and sponsorship opportunities. Working closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and the Life Sciences Client Development Team, you will help ensure seamless execution and alignment with our firm’s business development and client engagement objectives. You will also manage event tracking and reporting, delivering meaningful insights and ensuring that every client interaction creates impact. Your role will include some content creation to enhance our brand positioning and develop both existing and new client relationships.

Requirements

  • BA, BS, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of marketing or business development experience in a law firm, professional services organization, or corporate environment.
  • Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional client service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to think objectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information, and be comfortable articulating where you need help.
  • Willingness and ability to work with a wide variety of people and projects in a collective and collaborative manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing assignments effectively.
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels and quickly establish trust.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Foundation, Microsoft Dynamics, or other CRM tools and databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage logistics, with support from the Client Development Manager, for events such as client dinners, client presentations, sponsorships, trainings, and similar gatherings.
  • Working closely with the Client Development Manager, manage and oversee Goodwin’s participation in industry sponsorships.
  • Collaborate with conference organizers to handle logistics and maximize the benefits associated with the firm’s involvement.
  • Track and process Life Sciences requests for industry events, conferences, and related engagements.
  • Take the lead on all aspects of webinar planning, from conceptualization and scheduling to execution and follow-up.
  • Utilize Dynamics to track event, guest lists, and attendee information, ensuring accurate reporting and data management.
  • Work closely with the Client Development Manager to monitor and evaluate event effectiveness, tracking metrics and ROI, and providing post-event analysis and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with team to craft customized responses to pitches, RFPs/RFIs, and other marketing collateral for business opportunities and client meetings.
  • Ensure that practice group/industry descriptions, web content, matter lists, case studies, and other marketing materials are compelling and up-to-date.
  • Help maintain and enhance key business development assets across life sciences and healthcare practices, including web content, client decks, brochures, partners bios, and internal databases.
  • Monitor and analyze activity with key clients and prospects.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of business development initiatives across the firm and recommend strategies to enhance their impact.
  • Work closely with the LS CD Team and Marketing Team to secure strategic accolades and rankings that elevate our firm's reputation.
