As the Client Development Co-op, you will provide holistic support to Goodwin’s Client Development Department. The co-op on this team will work across all legal industries and practices within the firm to play a key role in several client-facing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Prior experience (co-op or internship) in a marketing, or in a professional services environment strongly preferred.
  • Effective and professional communicator, verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing assignments.
  • Strong organizational skills with particular attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills, including web-based research, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • A willingness to learn new software and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Create, organize and disseminate marketing and pitch collateral.
  • Research legal and industry-specific projects with a focus on clients, companies, competitors and the developing market.
  • Event and sponsorship planning and execution.
  • Draft legal directory surveys, league tables and rankings.
  • Update internal database.
  • Assist in thought leadership campaigns, and other branding opportunities.
