Were looking for a proactive Client Consultant to join the Troy to train, support, and maintain relationships with both new and existing payroll clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert customer consulting services, including issue resolution and process improvement.
  • Manage new client set-up and conversion activities.
  • Cross-sell company services to existing clients to enhance value and engagement.
  • Conduct on-site client consulting and/or training sessions.
  • Support tax filing department operations and ensure compliance with deadlines.
  • Perform accurate payroll data entry and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Handle prospect system calls and data entry for potential clients.
  • Create and administer program issue reports for internal tracking and resolution.
  • Serve as emergency switchboard backup when needed.
  • Train designated Doeren Mayhew Payroll System employees on processes and systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
