About The Position

Responsible for supporting strategic business initiative on behalf of on behalf of Wholesale Payments (WP) leadership. Develop and enhance subject matter expertise and leadership skills to design and execute a broad array of business initiatives. Works independently and in partnership with key stakeholders to drive the commercialization strategy of business initiatives for clients, Wholesale Payments sales teammates, and LOB partners. Responsible for owning and leading projects from inception to completion with greater autonomy and a focus on strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • General knowledge of financial industry, market, and products relevant to Payment’s business
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of adaptability and flexibility. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Ability to balance short-term deliverables against long-term projects
  • Proven ability to work well in fast-paced, team-oriented environment and ability to adapt
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Wholesale Payments solutions or cash management environment
  • Experience in payments focused roles or experience in Sales Enablement, Project Management, Strategy, or similar function

Responsibilities

  • Supports transformation initiatives for their designated business area, including strategic plan initiatives, new product initiatives, business change efforts, ongoing migration activities, sales performance routines and processes, risk management and operational excellence.
  • Executes on work assigned by senior staff such as orchestrating and coordinating product knowledge sessions, focused on effective client engagement practices to develop trusted advisor sales teammates who have a deeper knowledge of products/solutions and awareness of upcoming client impact initiatives.
  • Helps direct junior teammates, ensuring the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of work.
  • Works closely with Client Commercialization Team to provide business and project-related support and execution of go to market strategy and commercialization for project/program delivery
  • Demonstrates strong and efficient excel skills (shortcuts, pivot reporting, dynamic charts, etc.) + ability to effectively communicate via PPT for executive audience with minimal direction
  • Interprets data, identify trends and observations, and evaluate multiple options to help settle a solution
  • Designs and develops executive level business case proposals and presentations, as well as process maps, and other types of communication tools.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities/needs and designs/delivers strategies and programs to strengthen sales execution, remove barriers to success, and make processes more efficient and effective.
  • Plays a key role in ongoing programs to support the business, partnering with functional and other business partners as appropriate as liaison/SME by developing and maintaining effective internal working relationships across WP and the bank.
  • Proactively work to gain strong product knowledge through both self-study and on the job learning, demonstrate understanding through ability to effectively communicate.
  • Applies solid risk management skills in complex risk environment.
