We’re looking for a Client Accounting Associate to join our growing CAS team—someone who brings strong bookkeeping fundamentals and the curiosity to embrace the future of accounting. Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant full-charge bookkeeping or small‑business accounting experience
  • High school diploma/GED required; additional accounting coursework a plus
  • Experience working with multiple clients at once (public firm experience helpful)
  • Proficiency with business software; comfort learning new tools
  • Strong communication skills — verbal, written, and with non‑accounting audiences
  • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make sound recommendations
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to excellent client service
  • A valid, insurable driver’s license (occasional local travel)
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for tech‑enabled accounting

Responsibilities

  • Manage all bookkeeping tasks for assigned clients (weekly/monthly/quarterly)
  • Reconcile bank and credit card transactions; code, analyze, and post journal entries
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and related reporting
  • Collaborate with the CAS team on financial analysis
  • Assist with AP/AR, payroll reconciliation, sales tax filings, and 1099 preparation
  • Clean up and improve client books; help clients adopt better processes
  • Reconcile books to third‑party systems and troubleshoot discrepancies
  • Become proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Online (ProAdvisor certification within 2 months if not currently held)
  • Participate in CAS innovation initiatives: testing automation tools, developing AI literacy, refining workflows
  • Work with curiosity, confidentiality, professionalism — and a sense of fun
