About The Position

The Client Account Specialist will be responsible for executing and operationalizing the Client Experience program, supporting Regional Managers (RM's) with business development activities, and enhancing ConeTec’s client-facing presence across the U.S. through consistent outreach, organization, event coordination, and relationship-building. A successful candidate must have well-developed interpersonal, organizational and communication skills as well as strong problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, geophysics, marketing, communications or business.
  • Technical depth not required, but understanding of industry and ability to speak confidently about the business and "what we do".
  • 0-5 years of experience
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing, warm and comfortable speaking and making connections
  • Highly organized, structured, strong follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously with strong follow-through
  • Enjoys variety: presentations, logistics, client interactions, travel, and supporting multiple teams.
  • Scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, and organizing virtual or in-person events
  • Preparing and formatting presentations (PowerPoint)
  • Tracking activities and maintaining organized records
  • Documenting meeting notes and follow-up items

Nice To Haves

  • Sales, client service, or event coordination experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience in consulting, A/E/C, geotechnical, environmental, or construction industries is helpful but not mandatory
  • Experience with a CRM (Salesforce) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Track, update, and report on Regional office client activities (touchpoints, meetings, follow-ups, events).
  • Ensure each RM is following the Client Care cadence (quarterly touchpoints, presentations, key account reviews).
  • Maintain the Client Care League dashboard and update leaderboards or KPIs.
  • Prepare RM-specific client care summaries before quarterly or monthly BD check-ins.
  • Log RM BD activities (meetings, outreach, conferences, client visits) in CRM or tracking tools.
  • Maintain a unified U.S. BD calendar across regions.
  • Pull monthly BD activity reports for the leadership team.
  • Organize presentations for RMs to deliver to clients, including scheduling, materials prep, slide formatting, and follow-up.
  • Maintain a library of standard presentations (regional capability decks, service specific add-ons).
  • Ensure presentation materials stay brand consistent (and visually clean).
  • Register ConeTec and RMs for regional conferences, workshops, and association events
  • Coordinate booth materials, swag, banners, handouts, and shipping between marketing and local BUs
  • Attend select events to represent ConeTec, make contacts, and promote services at a high level
  • Collect leads and notes from conferences and input them into BD tracking systems.
  • Serve as a friendly face of ConeTec at events.
  • Make BD introductions, help answer general questions, and pass technical discussions to RMs, or other specialists.
  • Follow-up with contacts met at events, ensuring warm handoffs to RMs.
  • Keep RMs organized with reminders for client meetings, follow-ups, and outreach.
  • Support webinar logistics and attendance-building.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and BD leadership.
  • Energized by supporting others.
  • Comfortable switching from administrative tasks to client-facing environment.
  • Motivated by "making things happen".
