About The Position

Creative Plastics is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service/Order Entry Clerk to join our manufacturing team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate order processing, exceptional customer service, and smooth coordination between customers, sales, production, and shipping. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
1–3 years of customer service or order entry experience
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/order management systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
Customer-focused with a problem-solving mindset
Comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple departments
Adaptable and calm under pressure
Looking to grow within a stable manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

Enter customer orders accurately into the ERP/order management system
Verify pricing, product availability, and shipping information
Coordinate with production, shipping, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely fulfillment
Maintain accurate records of orders and customer interactions
Prepare order confirmations, reports, and shipping/freight documentation
Assist sales with obtaining accurate and open customer purchase orders
Resolve or escalate order-related issues as needed
Identify opportunities to improve order entry processes
Support team initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
