Receives and checks order forms, locates stock, and delivers supplies to locations. Checks order forms for proper coding, quantities requested and authorized approvals. Maintains inventory levels by checking shelves and preparing purchase and/or transfer orders. Stocks vendor deliveries in supply room. May operate a computer terminal. May be required to monitors inventory levels and advise when stock items reached re-order levels. Examines received items to verify conformance with specifications and purchase orders. Reports on spoilage and stock damage. May mark items with identification codes. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
