About The Position

Tessera is seeking a Motivated and Hard Working Stock Clerk with a positive/can-do/helpful attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Turn-In: Receives equipment from customer. Makes a serviceability determination about the condition of equipment being turned in. Checks equipment for cleanliness or if the equipment is in need of repair. Ensures that customer's Turn-In Worksheet is documented as per policy and procedures. Items not meeting the standards require managerial approval. Issue: Determines that equipment is clean and serviceable and appropriate size. Distributes equipment to customers. Ensures that the Issue Worksheet is documented with each item distributed including the size and quantity as per policy and procedures. Customer Service: Performs daily assigned work supporting customers and ensuring total satisfaction. Administers retail operations to ensure that appointment schedules are maintained and that all customers are treated within the quality standards. Handles the flow of customers to ensure all have the appropriate paperwork and if special help is needed, expedite their service. Assists customers in assembly, disassembly, and identification of equipment as necessary. Our customer is our number one priority. Direct Exchange: Conducted when a customer wants to exchange an item because of unserviceability or wrong sizing. Employee performs both the turn-in and issue task ensuring all transactions are properly documented on the customer's worksheet. Maintains Workstation/Back Stock Area: Place items on proper shelves or bins for distribution. Maintain a fully stocked workstation capable of supporting 150 full issues each day. Breakdown boxes and maintain a clean work environment. Box excess and non-issued items with accurate counts and identify content by posting labels. Ensure that pull lists are provided to the Stock Clerk Lead at the end of each day. Conducting Inventories: Inventories are conducted monthly. Assists in preparing equipment for inventory and counting all equipment in Bay 5, Bay 6 and the SSMO. Accurately post the counts to the Inventory Count Sheets. DRMO & Classification: Classifies equipment to determine serviceability and Condition Code in accordance with specific Technical Manual. Demilitarize equipment that is considered unserviceable or Condition Code H. Properly count, sort, and box excess and unserviceable equipment by LIN / NSN. Provides information to Stock Control Branch for proper documentation to maintain property accountability. Barcode Scanning System: Able to use the Barcode Scanning System during daily operations to process Issues, Turn-ins and Direct Exchanges. Scan the customers' ID or CAC with barcode scanning untethered handheld device and input personal data into the CIF-ISM. IOTV: Assemble and disassemble all versions of Body Armor Vest (OTV / IOTV / MSV). Ensure that quality standards are maintained. Zero deficiencies. Issue Body Armor as required. General Cleanliness: Assists with maintaining general cleanliness of the Central Issue Facility, to include policing of the building's exterior grounds. Repair & Cleaning Equipment: Employees will, at times, be required to repair some equipment using small hand tools. On occasion, employees will be required to clean equipment turned in by customers. Helps to ensure that quality levels are maintained in all areas and reports quality control complaints or issues to the Stock Clerk Lead. Employees will understand all quality standards and work to their highest level. Ensures proper safety and housekeeping standards are met. Wear appropriate PPE. Assemble and disassemble equipment as required. Maintain a neat appearance and wear appropriate clothing for the work being performed.

Requirements

  • At least one (1) year of stock clerk experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of a Central Issuing Facility preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to respond to inquiries
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, effective, and professional manner
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • A valid state driver's license is preferred with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access
  • A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position
  • Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act
