About The Position

Job Title: Operations Clerk - Transportation – National DCP Location: Lockport, IL Job Type: Full-time | Shift: Monday - Friday 5am - 2pm Take your career to the next level with NDCP! Overview: Join National DCP, LLC (NDCP) as a Transportation Operations Clerk where you’ll play a key role in supporting our fast-paced distribution operations for Dunkin’ restaurants. Primary function of this position will be to Assist warehouse management with inbound receiving and outbound selection. Communicate with employees and over the road truck drivers. Maintain spreadsheets, communicate among multiple departments, assist with NDCP’s food safety policies & assist with food safety audits. This is a clerical position with responsibilities including but not limited to computer data entry, relaying work assignments to fellow employees, paperwork accuracy verification, finance related data entry, mail sorting and general office work and operational support as needed. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
1+ years of experience in an office/operation setting
Strong oral and written communications skills
Ability to interact well with employees and customers
PC Literate with advanced-level Excel skills
Strong attention to detail

DOT and Hours of Service knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

Support dispatch operation at distribution center and related hubs ensuring that all routes are being monitored and completed appropriately.
Assist in dispatch of Delivery Routes and Shuttle Routes.
Track status of vehicles and equipment.
Reacts to breakdowns, accidents, and driver call-ins.
Manage the driver check-in process to address overages, shortages & damages along with proper driver sign out at end of shift.
Review PeopleNet trips from driver on-board computer.
Report non-compliance with Department of Transportation Hours of Service.
Track over/under hours for route drivers.
