Performs a variety of complex support tasks for judges, managers, or supervisors, etc. which may include: preparation, processing and reconciling a variety of documents and/or records; researching and resolving problems/issues; may balance and monitor accounts; and interact effectively with the public. May act as group/team lead under a manager or supervisor. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks, under minimum supervision. The Clerk IV provides administrative and program support to the Workforce Development Division by coordinating recruiting, training, and professional development activities. Responsibilities include data entry and record management, preparing reports, scheduling, and attending recruiting events, and serving as a liaison between staff, management, and external partners. The position supports all training sessions through preparation, setup, cleanup, and attendance and serves as a backup trainer when needed. The Clerk IV also assists with coordinating and facilitating New Hire Experience (NHE) orientation to ensure new employees understand workplace expectations, policies, and safety procedures. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (including graphs and formulas), PowerPoint, and Canva for developing presentations and tracking division metrics. The position also participates in offsite training sessions as scheduled. Reliable transportation and strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
