Essential Functions Statement(s) Assist the Logistics Manager and Team Lead in performing the daily tasks of shipping and receiving. Examine and inspect skids, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met. Verify receiving information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Complete specific forms and records when required. Unload trucks with a forklift, hand truck to transport products to the proper designated area. Affix labels on skids or products to identify receiving information. Receive returned product from customers. Responsible for examining returned product to ensure all items are in intact. Maintain inventory on products, wraps and pallets. Execute the receiving of all Purchase Orders using the ERP & WMS. Performing the duties according to the SOP. Communicate daily issues and pertinent information to appropriate departments when needed. Perform preventive maintenance and general maintenance on forklifts, sweepers, etc. as required. Understand and follow all company policies, practices, and procedures. Follow all plant safety procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of others. Assist with training of new employees. Perform housekeeping duties to ensure cleanliness of work area. Perform other duties when assigned.
