Responds to requests for medical information by performing duties in accordance with established hospital and departmental policy and federal laws. Schedule: This Health Information Management Clerk position is a Full-Time, On-Site , Benefited opportunitiy. The health information management clerk will help maintain medical records across various hospital departments and will learn and navigate multiple different specialty systems. It may offer rotating shifts and weekends. Shift lengths are typically 7-10 hours and the FLSA Status is Non-Exempt. This position reports to the Director of Health Information Management (HIM).
