Prepare and maintain campus financial records as directed by the principal

Requirements

  • College hours, high school diploma or GED
  • Proficient typing, word processing and file maintenance skills
  • Effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Number sense
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge of general office machines including computer, 10 key calculator, and spreadsheets

  • Accounting background, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Type and complete purchase orders.
  • Balance ledger to computer run.
  • Type insufficient fund letters for returned checks.
  • Maintain accurate records for budget and activity funds.
  • Separate and prepare paperwork for business office.
  • Handle petty cash.
  • Prepare deposits and deposit logs.
  • Prepare sales tax report.
  • Operate school store.
  • Assist vendors, teachers, and/or business office.
  • Requisition and check-in warehouse supplies.
