Maintains public address system and contacts personnel aboard ship assigned. Does headcount for the ship. Maintains the flammable substance log and issues tags, also maintains the Argon Purge Log. Will call for an Ambulance, Fire Dept. or Security as needed by Management. Will also announce Fire Drills when performed by Safety. Make all maintenance calls for repairs needed. Order supplies for the Boat Foreman's office as needed. Does special projects as assigned. Clerical duties and performing other administrative support and reconciling accounts; verifying consistency, completeness, and accuracy of the ship. The Clerk maintains Items ordered and verifies shipping invoices. This position compiles and records production data for Ships Management of all materials, tags, and supplies. The Clerk will collaborate and communicate with management on calls, paging, tracking paperwork and updating the status of reports and forms.
