Pierce Transit's Finance division is currently recruiting for a part-time, Clerical Assistant ( Money Counter ). The scheduled hours for this position are Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:00am to 4:30pm, subject to change based upon operational needs. With supervision and direction, performs general, routine clerical and/or revenue processing duties. Individuals in this position are responsible for completing a variety of duties related to processing fares, creating bank deposits and other clerical responsibilities of a regular and recurring nature. These duties may involve different and unrelated processes and methods. Routine assignments are carried out independently when procedures are learned. Performance is reviewed by observation of daily activities, quality of work and verbal exchange. Work situations are covered by well-defined policies, procedures and performance standards.
