About The Position

As a Software Engineer focused on signal processing algorithm development, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance software systems. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively to implement, test, and optimize complex algorithms and real-time processing components. Your work will contribute directly to systems that handle large-scale data processing, analytics, and signal exploitation in challenging operational environments.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) years of experience developing DSP algorithms on similar projects
  • Seven (7) years of experience with C++, Python, Linux, or similar languages/environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Four (4) additional years of DSP experience may be substituted for the degree
  • A Master’s in Engineering or Computer Science may substitute for two (2) years of experience
  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with real-time systems and signal processing at scale
  • Familiarity with RF, SIGINT, or similar mission-related domains
  • Understanding of hardware/software trade-offs and performance tuning
  • Experience with modern software development methodologies (Agile, CI/CD, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Design, code, and test new software or modify existing applications to add features
  • Integrate software components into larger systems and ensure compatibility
  • Debug and resolve defects in existing software
  • Recommend improvements to processes, documentation, and development standards
  • Write or review technical documentation for systems and software
  • Lead development efforts as needed, depending on the project scope and lifecycle
  • Develop queries and perform basic data operations for existing or planned data systems
