As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visibly present to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to requests for assistance, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors. This role fits someone who values teamwork, acts with integrity, and brings a caring, people-first approach to every interaction.

Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders, and/or supporting emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns per site protocol.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, processing visitors, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders as required.
• Complete security-related reports, logs, and shift documentation, and use communication systems to relay accurate information to Allied Universal leadership and site stakeholders.
