As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a cutting-edge aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, respond to calls for service, and provide clear communication and customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access by verifying identification, monitoring entry and exit points, and directing visitors, deliveries, and contractors according to site requirements.
  • Complete accurate reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations and trends to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
