DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee). The Impact you will have in this role: The Associate Director, DTC Settlement Operations (Change‑the‑Business) leads the execution of strategic transformation initiatives that support the modernization, resiliency, and regulatory evolution of DTC settlement services. This role is responsible for delivering complex, enterprise‑scale change initiatives across DTC, NSCC, and FICC within a systemically important, highly regulated financial market infrastructure. Partnering closely with Settlement Operations (Run‑the‑Business), Product Management, Technology, and other enterprise stakeholders, the Associate Director ensures change initiatives are designed, tested, and implemented in alignment with enterprise standards, controls, and risk tolerance. Operating under Director‑level leadership, this role provides hands‑on execution leadership, governance support, and senior‑level communication throughout the change lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of related experience in change delivery, program management, or transformation roles
  • Working knowledge of DTC Settlement Services is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Strong execution discipline with the ability to manage complexity and competing priorities.
  • Clear, concise communicator capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to identify and manage delivery and implementation risk.
  • Leadership style grounded in transparency, accountability, and collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of Change‑the‑Business initiatives, including platform modernization, regulatory change, automation, resiliency enhancements, and operating model evolution.
  • Plan and manage end‑to‑end program delivery, including sequencing, dependency management, risk and issue escalation, and implementation readiness.
  • Coordinate UAT, cutover, and release readiness activities to support controlled and timely delivery.
  • Utilize JIRA for delivery governance, milestones, dependencies, and executive reporting.
  • Oversee testing and defect management using AQM / ALM tools.
  • Apply strong data fluency, leveraging Snowflake or similar platforms to support reporting, metrics, and decision‑making.
  • Support governance forums and prepare senior‑level materials on progress, risks, and key decisions.
  • Mentor delivery teams and embed disciplined, sustainable change practices.
