As a medical device manufacturing Team Lead you will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong team of well-trained, productive, and committed employees, working together to produce medical devices according to regulations, planning, and standards, within set safety, quality, and quantity requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • 2-5 years work experience as a supervisor or team lead in manufacturing environment.
  • Result-oriented and gives others a clear direction.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
  • Ethical, supports company values; demonstrates integrity.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Adaptable, flexible and productive leader.

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual in Russian or Ukrainian a huge plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach employees and ensure optimal staffing in a qualitative and quantitative sense.
  • Ensures a well-functioning team, conducts individual (assessment) interviews, (preventive) absenteeism counseling and ensures a pleasant working environment where the core values of DORC are observed.
  • Together with the department, realizes the planned production according to the required qualitative and quantitative standards, within the budget and (annual) plan for the department and makes proposals for this.
  • Ensures a culture of continuous improvement, makes proposals from the department, takes care of implementation.
  • Registering deviations in products, processes and systems and taking measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensures the correct use and maintenance of tools, measuring instruments and equipment and gives advice for improvement.
  • Reporting, analyzing various production KPIs and adjusting the process where necessary.
  • Takes care of the final inspection of finished products and sub-assemblies and is authorized to approve production orders.
  • Responsible for compliancy within the department by implementing company and work regulations for safety, quality, training (up-to-date training files) and environment.
  • Works side by side with team to meet production goals and deadlines.
