About The Position

The Team Lead is responsible for managing daily workflow in a manufacturing and assembly environment to maximize efficiency and complete the assigned work for the day. This position is also responsible for distributing work to employees, partnering with management to share information and recommending ways to improve department effectiveness, production methods, equipment operation, and overall working conditions. This is a full-time, hourly position onsite at our C Studios Manufacturing facility in Elmhurst, IL. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2 years’ experience and/or training in a manufacturing setting; or equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, multitasking environment.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
Ability to pass background checks and investigations due to foreign, federal, state and local regulations; based on position responsibility and sensitivity, periodic check and reinvestigations may be performed
Is committed to working scheduled hours and has the flexibility to work additional hours based on changing business needs
Knowledge of industry business and passion for following trends in the industry
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional manner, both orally and in writing, at all levels within and outside the organization
Ability to quickly separate the mission-critical tasks from the lower priority tasks; focuses on the most value-added projects of the day or week
Flexible, with a positive attitude and passion for knowledge
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once
Possesses focused attention to detail while working quickly and accurately under pressure

Responsibilities

Oversees daily workflow for production team(s).
Executes daily strategy for assigned department.
Monitors team performance and metrics.
Reports issues to management in a timely manner and assists with solutions.
Reviews next day installs to ensure completion and quality standards are met.
Documents and maintains quality control standards, and on-going quality control objectives.
Assists with training of employees and works in other departments as needed
Engages in peer-to-peer coaching to reinforce good performance, positive behaviors, and teamwork.
Maintains high morale by building trust and camaraderie between team members.
Adheres to company safety guidelines
Contributes to a clean and safe environment
Consistently arrives promptly to work the assigned schedule
Responsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive company and customer information
Performs other requested tasks and duties
