About The Position

The Cleaner will be responsible for general cleaning and upkeep of large commercial buildings and public facility areas. Duties include, but are not limited to: Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties and delegate tasks Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching Receive complaints and resolve problems Maintain timekeeping and personnel records Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa Prepare and submit performance reports Remove trash and debris; clean interior sliding glass doors and windows Clean and disinfect kitchens, bathrooms, fixtures, appliances, and cabinets Clean mechanical rooms (pipes, A/C unit, water heater, etc.) Sweep, vacuum, mop all rooms, terraces, and closets Dust and wipe down hard surfaces, window sills, HVAC vents, and more Remove protective coverings and labels from fixtures and surfaces Perform other janitorial and maintenance tasks as assigned Important: Scrubbing cabinets is not allowed due to risk of damage. Any excessive debris must be reported immediately.

Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation to get to job site.
  • Must have 1 year Supervisor experience
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of janitorial experience (Required)
  • Language: English (Preferred)
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check conducted after a conditional offer is made
  • Must have a working mobile phone with the ability to download and use work-related apps
  • Must be able to use a phone app for completing location reports
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
  • Must be able to relocate to Sarasota, FL area before starting work (if not already located there)
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
