About The Position

As an employee, you will be part of a team that upholds high cleaning standards and safety as a top priority.ResponsibilitiesStudio cleaning and prepping, including cleaning of exercise equipment (bikes, weights), floors and mirrorsCommon area cleaning, including bathrooms, lockers, front desk, offices and hallwaysAbility to service athletic equipment along with previous experience working with cleaning products and hand tools .General building maintenance inside and outsideMaintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipmentReplenish paper products and sanitary suppliesFollow housekeeping scheduleLandscapingUse heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffersMoving equipment, supplies, and furnitureInforming managers about required repair and maintenance activitiesSecures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as requiredMaintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workersOther duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needsSometimes subject to external weather conditionsEngage in repair activities when neededuphold the cleaning standards set forth in the operating procedure manualRequirementsMust be able to work evenings and hours after closeMust have experience as a custodian, janitor or similar roleMinimum 2 years of experience.Excellent cleaning skills - Must possess a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environmentKnowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliancesFamiliarity with basic landscaping and handyman practicesTask oriented excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize work load; andEnthusiastic attitude, cooperative team player, adaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanor, self-motivated, creative and innovativeMust be able to lift 50 lbs;Must be able to sustain physical work for 8 hours per day including standing, reaching and pullingPerform and document routine inspection and maintenance activitiesTask oriented excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize work loadFriendly, personable, cooperative team player, professional demeanor, self-motivatedDetail oriented and thoroughDependable and reliableAbility to take direction well

Requirements

  • Must be able to work evenings and hours after close
  • Must have experience as a custodian, janitor or similar role
  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Excellent cleaning skills - Must possess a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment
  • Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
  • Familiarity with basic landscaping and handyman practices
  • Task oriented excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize work load; and
  • Enthusiastic attitude, cooperative team player, adaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanor, self-motivated, creative and innovative
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able to sustain physical work for 8 hours per day including standing, reaching and pulling
  • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities

Responsibilities

  • Studio cleaning and prepping, including cleaning of exercise equipment (bikes, weights), floors and mirrors
  • Common area cleaning, including bathrooms, lockers, front desk, offices and hallways
  • Ability to service athletic equipment along with previous experience working with cleaning products and hand tools
  • General building maintenance inside and outside
  • Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment
  • Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
  • Follow housekeeping schedule
  • Landscaping
  • Use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
  • Moving equipment, supplies, and furniture
  • Informing managers about required repair and maintenance activities
  • Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
  • Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
  • Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs
  • Sometimes subject to external weather conditions
  • Engage in repair activities when needed
