As a Cleaning Room Team Member at Valmet, you will be responsible for the removal of excess metal from plates in preparation for heat treat or machining processes. Having a strong mechanical background combined with interest in cross training in the following areas within the department; Shake Out Operation, Cut Off Operation, Snag Grind Operation, and Finish Grind Operation, will ensure success in this position. Desire to learn new tasks to grow their career Must have a high level of initiative Desire to work in a fast-paced team environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to push or pull heavy loads with the assistance of a wheeled cart, hoist, or other lift assist equipment Experience working with grinding, cutoff saw, or welding equipment Forklift operation experience is a plus but not required.
