Cleaning Crew - Maintenance & Support
About The Position
Responsible for cleaning buildings, removing debris, and keeping areas neat and tidy. Vacuumsand buffs floors, shampoos carpets, empties trash receptacles, and replace lining of trash cans. Salary: $16.50 Location: Oakdale Shift: 1pm to 5pm Essential Job FunctionsA) Perform cleaning tasks including; Sweeping and mopping floors, Cleaning toilets, urinals,hand basins, sinks, baths, showers and drinking fountains., Cleaning buildings by emptyingtrash, sweeping, dusting and cleaning surfaces,B) Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors afteroperating hours.C) Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges,and squeegees.D) Light maintenance as directed by the Swept Free supervisor.E) Demonstrate professional conduct at all times. Requirements
- Must have a valid NYS driver’s license
- Must be able to stand for 5 – 6 hours at a time and lift over 50lbs
