Overview
Responsible for cleaning buildings, removing debris, and keeping areas neat and tidy. Vacuums
and buffs floors, shampoos carpets, empties trash receptacles, and replace lining of trash cans.
Salary: $16.50
Location: Oakdale
Shift: 1pm to 5pm

Requirements

• Must be able to work in a team oriented environment
• Experience in janitorial/maintenance industry preferred.
• Must have a valid NYS driver’s license
• Must be able to stand for 5 – 6 hours at a time and lift over 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks including; Sweeping and mopping floors, Cleaning toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, baths, showers and drinking fountains., Cleaning buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, dusting and cleaning surfaces
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Light maintenance as directed by the Swept Free supervisor.
• Demonstrate professional conduct at all times. Follow the code of conduct and Agency expectations as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Transport Swept FREE team members to and from TRI location in Westbury to FREE location in Bethpage.
