About The Position

At Voda Cleaning & Restoration, the company specializes in a wide range of services including carpet and floor cleaning, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, water or storm damage restoration, mold mitigation, air duct cleaning, and odor removal, utilizing expertise and advanced techniques to deliver exceptional results. The Cleaning and Restoration Technician's role is to assist in retaining customers by fulfilling the company’s obligations through the timely and effective delivery of these restoration services. This position offers a great opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company at the ground level.

Requirements

High school diploma (or GED).
Adequate math skills.
Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
Basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.

Nice To Haves

1 year of floor cleaning experience, and/or some form of specialty cleaning (i.e. Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, etc.)
Certificates from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC)
Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) certification

Responsibilities

Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services.
Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
Communicate effectively with customers.
Perform basic equipment maintenance.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
Inspect completed work.
Complete the technician’s daily log.
Complete Work Orders.
Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
Maintain inventory of related supplies.
Be willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
Be willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
