About The Position

Voda Cleaning and Restoration is seeking a Cleaning and Restoration Operational Manager to oversee and optimize the daily operations of our Carpet Cleaning and Water Restoration teams. This hands-on role requires a candidate with a deep understanding of both carpet cleaning and water restoration, along with strong team management skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest industry standards. As part of this role, the manager will occasionally step into the field to assist with cleaning and restoration jobs, ensuring top-tier service and leading by example.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in water restoration and carpet cleaning operations, with a proven track record of team management and leadership.
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management and estimating software, such as Xactimate and CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with scheduling and operational tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) in: WRT (Water Restoration Technician) CCT (Carpet Cleaning Technician) AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician)
  • OSHA 30 Certification

Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations of carpet cleaning and water restoration teams, ensuring timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Team Management: Schedule, supervise, and lead teams for efficient execution of restoration and cleaning services, ensuring all work is performed to the highest quality.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work meets IICRC standards and Voda’s quality protocols.
  • Field Assistance: Step into the field as needed to assist with carpet cleaning, restoration jobs, and ensure quality, leadership, and smooth operations on-site.
  • Training & Development: Mentor and train team members on best practices, safety procedures, and equipment usage to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols, maintaining proper documentation of safety procedures and team training.
  • Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, ensuring satisfaction, and maintaining a professional and responsive relationship.
  • Goal Setting & Strategy: Collaborate with upper management to set operational goals, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive revenue growth.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in developing and implementing new procedures to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Track and maintain inventory of cleaning and restoration equipment and supplies, ensuring that resources are always available and in good working order.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Oversee the documentation and reporting for all restoration and cleaning projects, including work orders, client records, and billing.
