About The Position

The Baillie Group is a cohesive, unified group of hardwood producers working cooperatively together with each retaining their distinctive and valued cultural identities. Our Davenport, NY sawmill is hiring for a part-time cleaner. If you have previously worked in an entry level general labor position before, you'll be a great fit for this role. This is a full time opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, kneel, bend and reach frequently
• Must be punctual and able to work alone
• Must be available to work 4pm-8pm M-F

Responsibilities

• Cleaning under and around machinery in a Sawmill
• Picking up slabs of wood or trimmings
• Sweeping and shoveling sawdust
• Ensuring that all conveyors are free of debris
• Other duties as assigned
