About The Position

Join us as a Machine Shop Cleaner and Finisher at PRL and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products. As a key member of our team, you will perform various tasks at the Lebanon Machine Shop, including cleaning and finishing machined parts. As a Machine Shop Cleaner and Finisher at PRL, you will be responsible for performing various tasks within the Lebanon Machine Shop, including cleaning and finishing work on machined parts. You will follow verbal and written procedures and/or instructions to ensure that parts meet quality standards.
Requirements
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Must be able to read and write in English. Some vocational training in welding is preferred.
- Experience: Some related machining and inspection experience or other experience in an industrial environment is desirable.
- Skills: - Ability to use applicable tools. - Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. - Ability to function independently with minimal supervision. - Be able to use industrial equipment, such as forklift trucks, overhead cranes, jib cranes, and various hand tools, to accomplish daily tasks.
Responsibilities
- Follow verbal and written instructions in accomplishing daily tasks.
- Operate numerous hand tools as required.
- Clean castings as needed with a pneumatic grinder.
- Use a metallic stamp and hammer to inscribe numbers on castings.
- Assist in inspection operations when required.
- Operate forklift trucks, overhead cranes, jib cranes, and hand/floor trucks as needed.
- Verify that the information on the documents corresponds with the parts. Record information as per instructions.
- Operate company vehicles as needed, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Drive efficiently and responsibly, ensuring the safe transport of materials to designated locations.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Communicate with others verbally and in writing.
- Wear protective clothing and equipment as needed.
- Ensure the work area is safe, of good quality, and clean.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.

- We’re excited to offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus for this role. The bonus is paid in three installments: $1,000 at hire, $1,000 after three months, and $1,000 after one year of employment.
