About The Position
Park City Prep is an urban, public charter school cited by the Connecticut State Department of Education as a "School of Distinction" for the growth of its "high needs" students in both math and English Language Arts. Our mission is to promote academic excellence with a focus on science, technology and math. We are seeking an Science teacher for grade 8. CT certification, or eligibility for certification, is required. Qualified candidates should have excellent classroom management skills, familiarity with Next Generation Science Standards curriculum standards in the middle school grades and an unwavering commitment to raising student performance. Park City Prep is an "independent", state charter school, NOT affiliated with the Bridgeport Public Schools.
