Primary Classroom Teacher
About The Position
St. Thomas Aquinas Academy is seeking a devout Catholic candidate with a love of children, a desire to inspire wonder, and a capacity to model virtue in the classroom. Experience teaching phonics and early literacy is preferred. This mission-driven teacher possesses a unique talent for inspiring our youngest students with unending enthusiasm, hard work, and a deep sense of Catholic joy. Desired candidates should have experience with teaching children ages 6-9, a knowledge and appreciation of the Catholic intellectual tradition, classical and liberal arts pedagogy, and a spirit of adventure. Must pass a Level II background screening. Salary and benefits are commensurate with the salary and benefits offered within the Diocese of St. Petersburg.
