About The Position
Park City Prep is an urban, public charter school recognized by the Connecticut State Department of Education for the outstanding academic growth of its students. Its mission is to promote academic excellence in preparation for admission to selective, competitive high schools. We are seeking teachers of English Language Arts for grade 7. CT certification, or eligibility for certification, is required. Qualified candidates should have excellent classroom management skills, familiarity with the Connecticut Core Standards, and an unwavering commitment to raising the level of student performance. Park City Prep is an "independent", state charter school, NOT affiliated with the Bridgeport Public Schools.
