About The Position

The mission of Community Action Programs Cayuga/Seneca (CAP) is to respectfully assist people to achieve and sustain self-sufficiency through direct services, education, and community partnerships.

CAP is seeking a Classroom Aide for the Early Head Start Program. The Classroom Aide assists in providing high quality and comprehensive early child development service inclusive of children with special needs.

Requirements

• Child Development Associates credential (CDA) is preferred; or a high school diploma or GED and enrolled in a program leading to a Child Development Associates credential to be completed within two years; or be enrolled in a program leading to an associate's degree or Baccalaureate degree in early childhood development.
• Experience working with pre-school aged children.
• Reliable transportation and a valid NYS driver's license are required.
