About The Position

Coos Bay School District is currently accepting applications for classified work on a substitute/on-call basis at various buildings throughout the District. Specific duties will depend on area of vacancy. Examples of classified work include, but are not limited to: Clerical/Secretarial Educational Assistant- K-12 Educational Assistants- Little Pirates Preschool Library Clerk Custodial

Requirements

Must pass criminal background check.
Completion of required Vector training.
Must successfully pass preemployment drug screening (screening does not include substances considered legal in the State of Oregon)
Ability to work with and lead students in group and individual activities.
Instructional and behavioral management skills.
Ability to use current office technology and equipment.
Ability to be professional, dependable, and self-motivated.
Have a student-centered focus.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to work effectively with students, families and staff from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
Must be flexible and willing to report to different schools depending on need.
