About The Position
This position is ideal for drivers who enjoy a physically active job and want to work for a company that prioritizes safety and growth. Responsibilities include: Safely operating tractor-trailer units on assigned routes to haul solid waste and containers Frequent entry and exit from the cab throughout the day Securing loads and performing your own tarping Conducting thorough pre- and post-trip inspections Reading and following route sheets; servicing all assigned customers Hauling containers to designated dump or swap locations Delivering professional and courteous service at every stop
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 2 years of relevant driving experience
- Basic mechanical knowledge for inspections
- SAFETY SENSITIVE - YES
