About The Position

States Logistics Services, Inc. is seeking a Class A Driver - Yard Hostler for their Tolleson Terminal. This role involves operating a yard goat and various tractor-trailer combinations to move trailers around the yard and between company/customer facilities. Requirements

18 months driving experience with a tractor/trailer
Must be at least 23 years of age
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
No major convictions in the past 5 years (DUI, Reckless, Suspensions, etc.)
Must be able to operate tractors with manual transmission
Have a valid Class A Driver License

Nice To Haves

Yard Spotting experience preferred
Yard Goat experience preferred

Responsibilities

Operating a yard goat
Connecting and disconnecting trailers on a continuous basis (moving trailers around the yard)
Operating various tractor-trailer combinations for extended periods of time and/or over long distances between company/customer facilities, terminals, yards, or work sites
Pick up, transport and deliver freight in a safe, timely, and efficient manner
Drop, hook, spot, or otherwise interchange equipment for loading or unloading at various locations under varied conditions on a continuous basis
