About The Position
Class A Dedicated Driver - Touch Freight - Home Weekly POSITION DETAILS Average Weekly Pay: $1,350 - $1,500/week (running 1,100-1,300 miles and completing 3 loads) Home Time: Home weekly for a 34-hour reset Delivery Area: FL, GA, SC, and some parts of AL Average Miles: 1,100-1,300 miles per week Average Loads: 3 loads per week Freight Type: Dry van, 100% touch freight - live unload, box by box with rollers Mileage Pay: $0.63/mile (regardless of experience) Unload Pay: $240 per unloaded trailer Backhaul Pay: $50 Schedule: Early AM deliveries; drivers arrive night before or early morning to meet delivery times; nights, weekends, and holidays required Equipment: Freightliners and Kenworths (all newer models) Support: Experienced, tenured support team Vacation: 1 Year: 1 week 2 Years: 2 weeks 7 Years: 3 weeks 10 Years: 4 weeks
Requirements
- Must have 3 Months Class A Driving Experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- No SAP violations in the past 5 years
- Must pass DOT physical and drug test
- Ability to perform physically demanding manual unloads
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have secure parking location for truck and trailer
- Must bring 2 weeks' worth of supplies to orientation
