About The Position
Class A Dedicated Driver - Touch Freight - Home Weekly POSITION DETAILS Average Weekly Pay: $1,500 - $1,750/week (running 1,500 miles and completing 5 loads) Top Performers: $2,200 - $2,400/week Average Annual Pay: Up to $104,000 Weekly Incentive Bonus: Extra $50 for drivers available for a full work week Home Time: Home weekly (not a home-daily or home-every-weekend position) Delivery Area: CT, MA, NH, VT, NY, RI, ME (within 1,066 miles of Windsor, CT) Average Miles: 1,500 miles per week Freight Type: Dry van, 100% touch freight - live unload, box by box with rollers Unload Pay: $240 per unload Backhaul Pay: $105 per load NYC Borough Pay: $250 for deliveries to NYC boroughs (26 ft pup) Schedule: Night driving required; may include weekends and holidays Equipment: Tractor assigned last day of orientation Parking: Authorized to park at any store location or distribution center Vacation: 1 Year: 1 week, 2 Years: 2 weeks, 10 Years: 4 weeks
Requirements
- Must have 3 Months Class A Driving Experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- No SAP violations in the past 5 years
- Must pass DOT physical and drug test
- Ability to perform physically demanding manual unloads
- Strong customer service skills and patience
- Must be willing to drive nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have secure parking location for truck and trailer
- Must bring 2 weeks' worth of supplies to orientation
