About The Position

Drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with 26,000 GVW capacity to transport and deliver products and materials. Required to package products for delivery and load and unload trucks. Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order. Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required. Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from the loading crew and checking that the vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned. Secure and a willingness to pitch in and help fellow team members with bills of lading to determine assignment details. Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.

Requirements

  • Requires a commercial driver’s license CDL.
  • Must have a clean driving record as well as 2 years of truck driving experience.
  • Must be motivated and willing to come in early or stay over when necessary to achieve production goals.
  • Must have a positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in and help fellow team members achieve production goals.
