About The Position

This position involves driving a tractor/trailer and a large straight truck to transfer inventory between the warehouse and production facilities. Responsibilities include picking up raw materials, supplies, and equipment from suppliers and outside warehouses, and delivering/picking up materials for further processing. The role requires filling out inbound meat forms and signing freight tickets. The individual will handle confidential information and/or trade secrets. When not driving, the role involves working in freezers and coolers to receive products and ship goods to customers. Occasional preventive maintenance or light maintenance work may also be required.

Requirements

Must have a Class A Iowa Commercial driver’s license
Must have a current D.O.T. physical card
18 years or older
6 months of work history
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to work in both hot and cold environment
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

Commercial truck driving experience preferred
