Temperature controlled working environment Work Schedule: Weekly Rotating Shifts for Production Employees, Monday through Friday. Shift start time depends on the department, but weekly rotations begin on 3rd, 2nd, and then 1st shift. Community Overview: Welcome to our New Ulm Community! Scope of Job: The Velveeta Process Misc. laborer has a variety of responsibilities in the process area of the department. This person usually works without close supervision and does not coordinate the work of others. This employee receives brief verbal instruction. The position requires a valid fork truck license (company provided) and PLC keyboard knowledge. The daily operation of this job is relatively varied & can be learned in 3-4 weeks. Job Responsibilities: Production: Rework - handling hot and cold. Maintain bulk powder unloading system Operates CB1 barrel tipper Upgrade on in Process area – Curd Op & Cell Op. Change color barrels and fill color bins. Assist in product changeovers. Assist with blender condiment additions Transfer & haul supplies to all areas of the department, knowledge of ingredients. Maintain area housekeeping Follow all GMP’s. Relieve for breaks when applicable. Material management & SAP understanding Other duties as requested by Supervisor Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED Preferred. Previous Manufacturing Experience Preferred.
