This is a diversified position requiring competencies in all aspects of the Engineer scope of responsibilities. Preventive maintenance, Mechanical, electrical, plumping, painting etc. Qualified candidates must have minimal 2 years' experience as a facility Engineer in the hospitality, skilled nursing, residential or housing industry. Experience in maintaining mechanicals in restaurants and typical guest rooms is required. Certifications in HVAC, Plumbing & / or electric are a plus. Bilingual English and other tongue is preferred for guest interaction. Experienced in OSHA, fire safety, elevator entrapment & other safety related matters is required. Experienced in technical competencies, which are used to communicate & resolve Engineering needs is required. IE: Synergy or other property maintenance system. Candidates must be able to work independently, multi-task in an engaging and busy work environment. Heavy phone, and guest interactions, be able to work a flexible, rotating schedule, which includes overnight, evening, AM, weekends, Holidays.

Requirements

  • Minimal 2 years' experience as a facility Engineer in the hospitality, skilled nursing, residential or housing industry.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain high-pressure boiler for the Laundry operation.
  • Operate and maintain low-pressure boiler.
  • Operate and maintain other vessels as needed for hot water kitchen steam and air conditioning.
  • Assist mechanics and maintains men in repairs.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
  • Possess knowledge of all emergency service switches and shut-off valves for electrical feeders, incoming water lines, and natural gas lines.
  • Know the locations of all sprinkler zone valves.
  • Possess ability to obtain and complete service tickets through the OmniComp System.
