Receive notifications on your App and via text when a manager updates or post new shifts. Providing your availability in the App will help your Supervisor to post shifts that fit your schedule. You can pick new skills to learn from the profile screen and your Supervisor will be notified of your interest. Go for the GOLD and track your Reliability, Experience and Consistency on your profile screen in the App. Purpose of Position: Use of power equipment to load and unload product. Safely move, locate, relocate, stack and count product. Company Expectations: Our expectation is that all employees, customers, vendors will perform in a manner that will ensure long term success. Flexibility: Works the hours needed to support the business goals (including overtime, weekends and holidays). Remains open-minded, performs a wide variety of job tasks, transitions from task to task effectively (multi-task). Reliability: Always present and punctual; arrives prepared for work. Completes work in a timely, accurate and consistent manner. Plan and schedule your time off in advance with your supervisor or manager. Willingness to learn: Approaches new tasks with an interest to learn. Has the ability to learn techniques as job task requirements change. Initiative: Seeks out additional work when job tasks are completed. Goes above and beyond required tasks. Participate in pre-shift meetings and department meetings. Display pride in your work area by maintaining daily housekeeping of our operations building, equipment, break rooms, restrooms, smoke areas, etc… Promote teamwork and assist in all areas and processes in the operation as needed / required. Quality of Work: Maintains high standards despite pressing deadlines. Produces accurate, thorough and professional work. Understands the importance of “Only Handle It Once – OHIO”, by completing work correctly the first time. Follows directions: Follows all written and verbal instructions provided by management, project leader, etc… Communication: Shares all information in a professional and factual manner ensuring the best decisions are made for the company. Report all issues to your manager/supervisor. Appearance: Maintains an appropriate appearance and dresses in accordance with the established dress code guidelines to your respective position. Safety: Follows all rules, guideline, and practices. Informs supervisor / manager immediately if unsafe conduct or conditions arise.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
  • Ability to use an RF scan device.
  • Ability to operate a clamp attachment.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
  • Must have experience and be knowledgeable about Food Safety or willing to receive training in Food Safety.

Responsibilities

  • Operate power equipment, including clamp and forklift, to load, unload, move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products.
  • Utilize an RF scan device for product management.
  • Meet established productivity standards for assigned accounts.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, including Dock Safety, and security procedures.
  • Conduct lift inspections prior to operation and report equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of inbound and outbound shipments, verifying they are error and damage-free.
  • Accurately scan products and match item codes with documentation (pick lists, stocking lists).
  • Complete all inbound and outbound paperwork accurately and completely.
  • Report any product damage or inventory discrepancies to management.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area (daily housekeeping).
  • Promote teamwork and provide assistance across various operational areas as needed.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, reliability, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and initiative in all job tasks.
  • Follow all written and verbal instructions from management.
  • Communicate professionally and factually, reporting all issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain appropriate appearance and adhere to dress code guidelines.
