Supported by (and reporting to) Head of Claims, you'll be joining a friendly team of 3 leaders and 25 overall who believe in delivering great customer service at scale. As our Claims Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising, mentoring, and developing a team of up to 8 Claim Specialists who will be handling commercial auto claims across the country. Experienced Team Leader: At least 12 months of supervising claim specialists or direct reports in personal or commercial auto claims. Licensed Adjuster: Current Texas adjuster’s license, with the ability to obtain California and New York licenses within 60 days. Team Development: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop claim professionals to achieve high performance. Phone-Based Claims: Experience managing a phone-based claims unit to optimize efficiency and drive strong results. End-to-End Claims Oversight: A track record of overseeing complete commercial auto claim activity while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Coaching & Performance Management: Skill in coaching and managing performance to elevate both individual and team capability. Scaling Teams: Experience hiring, onboarding, and developing claims talent to build and scale a high-performing team. Process Improvement: Demonstrated success in identifying and implementing process improvements within a claims environment.
